Back in 2013 in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, a few scrappy friends came together to produce the first version of what would eventually become known as Freakout Festival. Now in its 11th year, Freakout's fall fest offers one of, if not the most diverse lineups in the northwest. Freakout offers a place for audiophiles to shake off their fall rain jackets, get rowdy and tap into a collective psychedelic music experience.
Back for year 2 is the spring edition of our festivities, the Freakout Weekender! This March 4/5, Freakout will migrate to Belltown for two rowdy nights at the newly relocated Crocodile Cafe. The fest will be showcased on all three stages inside the Croc, including Madame Lou’s & Here After, and will have a stronger punk presence than your standard fall Freakout.Check out the 2021 recap video here!
In recent years, Freakout Festival has been featured in Brooklyn Vegan, Rolling Stone France, The Stranger, KEXP, Remezcla, the Seattle Times and more.
